Copyright Policy
Last updated: June 9, 2026
This Copyright Policy explains how Alignya Solutions LLP ("we", "us", or "our"), the company behind WiseMatcher, responds to claims of copyright infringement involving our website and services (the "Service"). It also describes how you can submit a takedown notice and how a counter-notification works.
We respect the intellectual property rights of others, and we expect everyone who uses the Service to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (the "DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and we may remove or disable access to material that we believe in good faith to be infringing.
Reporting Claimed Copyright Infringement
If you are a copyright owner, or are authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that material on the Service infringes your copyright, you may send us a written DMCA takedown notice. To be effective, your notice must include substantially all of the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3).
Please include the following in your notice:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list of those works.
- Identification of the material that you claim is infringing and that you want removed or disabled, together with information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it (for example, the URL, page, or a description of where the material appears on the Service).
- Your contact information, including your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address, so that we can reach you.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Please note: Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. If you are unsure whether material is protected by copyright or whether your use of it is authorized, you may wish to consult an attorney before submitting a notice.

Counter-Notification
If your material was removed or disabled in response to a takedown notice and you believe that the removal was a mistake or a misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification to our designated contact at the email or mailing address above.
To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g), your counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location at which it appeared before it was removed or disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, mailing address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or that person's agent.
After we receive a valid counter-notification, we may forward it to the party who submitted the original takedown notice. If that party does not notify us within ten (10) business days that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity, we may restore the removed material, as permitted by the DMCA.
Repeat Infringers
We have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright. We may also limit access to the Service, remove content, or take other action against any user who infringes the intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is repeat infringement.
Modifications to This Policy
We may update this Copyright Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after an update means that you accept the revised policy.
Governing Law
This Copyright Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except that our handling of DMCA notices and counter-notifications follows the procedures of the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act described above.
